Pete is a Principal Advisor with Logistics Capital & Strategy. His passion is helping clients achieve and sustain higher levels of performance - working with companies to drive growth, increase margins, and enable people to be more effective. He has lived in the US and Japan and has worked with clients around the globe.

Pete's consulting experience includes profitability improvement, price optimization, procurement improvement, and growth strategy in industries including transportation and logistics, consumer packaged goods, consumer durables, retail, telecommunications, and manufacturing, for publicly traded firms and private equity owned companies. For a major international freight forwarder, Pete helped increase profitability by optimizing market-based pricing for one-time (spot) quotes and longer-term contracts. The project team developed tools for real-time pricing based on customer segmentation, available capacity, and competitive market dynamics.  He has led multiple cargo and small package strategic sourcing initiatives across manufacturing and retail industries. For private equity firms, Pete has conducted buy- and sell-side due diligence studies to assess current and potential transaction value for transportation companies, including several trucking companies. Post-transaction, he has helped management teams develop “CEO Agendas” for improving profitability. For a mid-market private equity firm, Pete led strategic pricing initiatives to increase revenue and profits for five portfolio companies.  In addition to cost reduction and pricing optimization, Pete has helped clients realize growth goals through organic, tuck-in acquisition, and strategic growth initiatives.

Previously, Pete was a Principal with A.T. Kearney, a Partner at Archstone Consulting, and a Principal at Griffin Strategic Advisors.

Pete received his MBA from The Amos Tuck School of Business Administration, Dartmouth College, and his B.S. in Engineering from Bucknell University. He serves as a Village Trustee in his hometown in the suburbs north of Chicago.
