Jim is a Principal Advisor with Logistics Capital & Strategy and has over 35 years of experience representing lenders, creditor committees, and debtors in out-of-court restructuring, distressed M&A, and bankruptcies. His expertise and experience provides the knowledge to uncover and identify the feasibility of distressed M&A invested for PE owned and aggressive public companies.

His experience expands multiple industries and has included representing: 

• Commercial bank lenders and creditor committers in transport and logistics, specifically airlines and door-to-door courrier services

• Hedge funds, commercial banks, and creditor committees in oil and gas E&P, midstream, and service companies bankruptcies and restructurings  

• Secured creditor and purchasers of utilities and power generation assets

Jim received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Rice University and a J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law.
